Meet Jeff.
Jeff graduated from UNC Asheville in 2008 with a degree in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Ecology and Environmental Biology. After graduation, Jeff spent time working for the National Parks Service and North Carolina’s Plant Conservation Program. He also spent time working for Native Trails, helping with the construction of mountain biking trails in North Carolina. Jeff also worked for Unique Places as the Director of Invasive Species Management. In 2015, Jeff began Native Roots NC and has been collaborating with the State’s leading conservation groups ever since. He and his dedicated crew cover ground in the Piedmont, Triad, and Western North Carolina. Currently, projects are in the works in South Carolina and Virginia.
